At last this target has finally reached its destination. And boy oh boy, what a way to welcome this chap from Coimbatore. It all started at Coimbatore with me loading my bike into the parcel car, courtesy our very own reliable Southern Railways.
By the time I reached Chennai, Sunday afternoon, it was already half past two. Whew!!! I could just feel the sun above me draining every ounce of energy that I had. As I unloaded my vehicle from the parcel car, I was pretty well aware of the fact that the worst is yet to come.
Not a drop of petrol onboard, as it is a must that two-wheelers must be completely drained off of petrol while loading it into the parcel car of the train. And I knew well that I would have to trudge along with this 135 kg two-wheeled monster to the nearest gas station upon reaching Chennai.
Things didn’t pan out the way they were supposed to be, the reason being the closest gas station was more than a mile away from the station. Dragging this gigantic stallion that is nearly three times my body weight for more than a mile was no mean task, and I am puzzled as to why this feat wasn’t recognized by the Limca Book of World Records…. Teehee…. And you wanna know about the traffic… well.. here’s my take… Chennai Traffic is the worst nightmare one can go through. Virtually every two-wheeler has a heart of Valentino Rossi and not to mention the four-wheelers, Schumacher, are u hearing me…..?
Whatever it is, when the going gets tough, the tough get going, hehe
